The most immersive story telling I had seen in probably any game I had played. If you are a sadist, or a masochist, you will love this game. Especially if you are both. It might be lacking in sex scenes, but I didn't mind.
The plot is basically a cat girl goddess being tortured by an evil keeper, who wants to corrupt her into submitting to the dark lord. Torturing her with an awful game for decades until she finally gives up. This is a very fun dice-rolling game, where a lot of these tiles are traps and your chances of success are small, but it is possible for you to beat the game. There's always a chance to reach the end if you just keep trying. This is especially true since, despite being a dice-rolling game, your success is not being left purely to random chance, there's still some strategy left by negotiating with your keeper or skipping time which should affect your chances. Worth a try!
Not a lot of sex scenes though. Especially for the time you might dedicate into this.
I think there's something about the plot that can be easily missed by most people, which is better if you find out on your own but if you didn't, I guess I have to tell you...

You are meant to hate this game. It keeps giving you false hope that you can beat the game, when you can't, and you are barely rewarded for your time, barely seeing any progress. It's horrible. You are going to try over and over, you might try every single nook and cranny you can think of, and you won't make it. The worst part is that I am still not sure if you can actually beat the game, is it really false hope? That's what kept me playing. Trying over and over, I felt more and more like giving up, until my hope became the size of a dot I kept clinging on, until I had to focus on personal matters which made me forget about this game. It was torture, and it was consensual. Like I said though, this is the point of the game, because what you are feeling is what the protagonist is feeling. When you reflect and realize how many parallels this game has with the feelings the player is meant to feel, that's when you realize the game suceeded. This is why I love this game

Stop trying to win, you are not supposed to. There's a sequel to this game that shows she canonically didn't win. You had technically already beaten the game by getting all 3 endings. Hopefully this eases your frustrations, but if it doesn't since you wished you could win, I understand
Of course, another reason I consider this the most immersive game is because I am being willfully ignoring other methods of immersion to emphasize this one, and because I had played very little games that I noticed tried to be immersive in this way.
Edit: I was deeply wrong about things, mainly the ending. You can win. I am sorry about that, this review is not as good as I hope my reviews to be.

At times I felt like the game was too difficult, for the first time I wished a porn game was easier. Part of me still preferred it that way because I like a challenge. Shortly after I realized how relatable the main character is to me. I was being tortured, always clinging onto hope that maybe this time I’ll make it much farther or the time after, maybe if I sell her body and tear away a bit of her soul she’ll have a better chance, maybe if she dies a few times she can make it. But I barely made progress most of the time, I started to think that the dices are rigged and there’s no way to win actually, no matter what I do, even if there was, time was running out, and the sanity of my character was depleting. Yet, I still kept playing and I still tried to win because the game always tried to tell me that there is a chance I can win by allowing me to make a little bit of progress. Any time I found myself getting through a difficult obstacle or finding myself making more progress than usual, I told myself that there is a chance, but any time I fell into the same loop again, I wondered: “Is the game playing with me? Tricking me into thinking that there’s hope”. Those thoughts came with the desire of giving up, but I still kept clinging onto hope. So I continued… and continued… and continued…. And continued…. And continued… and continued… and continued… and- oh bad ending. Time to try a new strategy, attempt number 498
This was the only way to describe why the storytelling in this game was so good. I came here with love for horror and cat girls, then later as a horny sadist wanting a fictional character to be tortured, only to end up realizing that ironically I was the one being tortured, just like her. Making the player think exactly the same thing that the main character is thinking about is excellent storytelling, and I was impressed when I reflected on this game.
You little shit. Not only did you lure a sadist into your game, but you also turned the tables and made the sadist the one being tortured huh? I kind of respect that.
I guess there’s a lame way of summarizing this in one sentence, but eh
I did win in the end btw. (Note 3/27/2023: Did I? I don’t remember, I guess I was hoping I would win but I never did hah)
The game is slow for my potato arch linux, but I found it odd how it got slower as I went on, and exiting the pause menu or the transitions made the rest of the game slower. The solution was always to restart the game. It may be because of a plugin, plugins tend to be bad on low-end computers, but if it’s a plugin it’s probably not worth removing. (Note 3/27/2023: I will no longer use my potato arch linux to play most porn games, I went back to using my main pc + steam link. I got a spare router that I can locate on the same room as the pc, this made it so I have no lag when I play these games)
